Upon your arrival at Paro Airport, you'll receive a warm Meet & Greet. From there, we'll transfer you to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, situated at an elevation of 7,710 ft. Upon reaching Thimphu, you'll check in at the hotel. In the evening, you have the option to either relax at the hotel or explore Thimphu City at your leisure with a stroll. You'll spend the night in Thimphu, soaking in the ambiance of this charming capital.

After enjoying breakfast, your day will begin with a visit to Kuenselphodrang, home to the impressive Buddha Dordenma statue. Next, we'll proceed to the National Memorial Chorten for a cultural exploration. In the afternoon, we'll head to Sangaygang View Point, offering breathtaking panoramic vistas of Thimphu. En route, we'll stop by the Takin Preserve Centre, where you can observe Bhutan's national animal, the Takin. Following this, we'll visit the Changangkha Lhakhang, a revered Buddhist temple. In the evening, our journey continues to the historic Tashichho Dzong, overnight in Timphu

Following breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic drive to Punakha/Wangdue, situated at an altitude of 4298 ft. Along the way, we'll make a stop at Dochu-La-Pass (10334 ft.) for a photo opportunity, allowing you to admire the majestic Himalayan peaks. Here, you'll also witness the remarkable sight of the 108 chortens/stupas (Druk Wangyel Chortens), surrounded by vibrant prayer flags, marking the highest point between Thimphu and Punakha/Wangdue Valley. Upon reaching Punakha, you'll check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, our exploration continues with a visit to Punakha Dzong, a magnificent fortress built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to embark on a short and pleasant hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, affectionately known as "The Temple of Fertility." The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. You'll spend the night in Punakha/Wangdue, surrounded by the serene beauty of Bhutan's landscape.

Following breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic drive to Paro, nestled at an altitude of 7,483 ft. En route, we'll stop at Lamperi to explore the Royal Botanical Park, a paradise for nature enthusiasts boasting 36 species of exotic rhododendrons and approximately 220 charming bird species. Upon arrival in Paro, you'll check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, our journey continues with a visit to Ta Dzong, housing the National Museum, renowned for its impressive collection of arts, relics, and religious thangkhas. Next, we'll explore Rinpung Dzong, meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels," now serving as the administrative and judicial center of Paro. The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure, soaking in the tranquility of Paro. You'll spend the night amidst the serene beauty of this picturesque valley.

Following breakfast, we'll embark on a journey to the base of the revered Taktshang Monastery, often referred to as the "Tiger's Nest." The monastery is perched dramatically on a cliffside, and reaching it involves a scenic 2-3 hour uphill hike, a spiritually enriching experience that leaves visitors feeling truly blessed. The main Lhakhang within the monastery complex was constructed around Guru Rinpoche’s Meditation cave in 1684, adding to its historical and religious significance. In the afternoon, if time allows, we'll visit Drukgyel Dzong, where you can explore the fortress's ramparts and enjoy an awe-inspiring view of Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314 m). On our way back, we'll make a stop at Kichu Lhakhang, counted among Bhutan's oldest Buddhist temples, offering a glimpse into the country's rich cultural heritage. You'll spend the night in Paro, reflecting on the spiritual and natural wonders experienced throughout the day.
